Three separate ex-tra judicial kill-ings claimed the lives of a barangay captain, a senior citizen and unidentified man in three towns last week just a month before the elections.

San Pedro Barangay Captain Samuel Ragay was shot to death by three unidentified men inside the barangay hall at 10:00 o’clock in the morning, Thursday. The attack also injured the barangay treasurer identified as Nenfa Herosa and another victim Lorna Vingcoy

The brazen attack shocked the community still reeling from the violent deaths of two residents in the same town who allegedly fought off the policemen who came to serve the warrants.

Meanwhile, a 64-year-old woman was found murdered outside of her abode in Barangay Canaway, Siaton town. Authorities identified the victim as Dolorosa Palaran Ege, who sustained a gunshot wound in the head.

The relatives of the victim found her dead on the bamboo bench outside her home early morning. However, one of the neighbors claimed she heard gunshots about three hours before the victim’s corpse was discovered.  Two spent shells believed to be from a caliber 9mm pistol was recovered from the crime scene.

The third victim, still unidentified, was found gagged and shot in the head in Barangay Bong-ao, Valencia. The male victim, estimated to be 30-years-old, wore shorts while his t-shirt was used to gag his mouth.  Investigators recovered 3 spent shells from a .45 caliber pistol. He is believed to have been brought to the secluded place to be summarily executed.
