Architects to hold Summit

The United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) – Dumaguete Chapter hosted the orientation of the district council, chapter officers, and board of directors of UAP-C1 which included eight chapters from Cebu, one chapter from Bohol, and the host chapter from Dumaguete last July 20, 2019 at the James Herring Hall of Foundation University in Dumaguete City.

The new board of directors from the UAP Dumaguete Chapter who accommodated were Architects Ned Carlos (5th from right to rightmost), Angelita Tan, Alexander Udjaji, Faustino Duray and the new officers (leftmost to right) Architects Oliver Lancin, Zorich Guia, Jason Ijan, Kenn Lero, Raymund Amores (president), and Janice Garol (district director).

The council assembly oriented the new officers to all activities of the UAP-C1 for the fiscal year 2019-2020 which included preservation of Filipino architectural heritage and immediate concerns on the architectural practice and organizational structure of the UAP.

The conference was followed by landmark tours of Dumaguete City on Sunday, July 20.
