“Christmas”

UMALOKOHAN

Every year we celebrate Christmas to commemorate the birth of  Jesus Christ. That’s why the proper greeting is that of Spain, which says “Feliz Navidad” or  Happy Birthday!

Technically December 25, is the alleged birthday of Jesus Christ.” To Christianity, Christmas is a very special holiday. Though the specific day on which the Lord Jesus was born is not recorded in the Bible, Christmas gradually became a universal holiday in the make of the expansion of Jesus Christ’s gospel.”

The Christmas holiday itself is not important and all the various ceremonies are not important. What are most important are the Lord Jesus’ words and things he requires us only by practicing the ways of Jesus Christ, to Love one another, can we be truly celebrating Christmas.

The best Christmas one could wish for is good health, health is wealth. I love a simple test for Christians or any person to follow and remember: That God says that when I was hungry you gave me food, when I was thirsty you gave me water to drink, when I was imprisoned you set me free, but how can God be thirsty, hungry or be imprisoned when he is God.

The answer is simple. God says, “Whatsoever you do the least of my brothers, that you do unto me.”

Merry Christmas, Feliz Navidad, and a Happy New Year.
