Do not vote for corrupt officials

UMALOHOKAN

Sovereignty resides in the people and all governmental authority emanates from them. It is during election that this sovereignty is exercised by the people. Sovereignty is the absolute power to govern. Thus, since we have a republican form of government, or a representative form of government, it is through this coming election that the people will exercise this authority. We have to vote wisely, do not sell your vote, do not be fooled by the propaganda of the candidates. Beware of so called journalists most of them are paid hacks.

Among the propaganda tools used by the candidates, and the political parties are campaign posters which is regulated by the COMELEC to be posted only on COMELEC poster areas. The most effective way of getting votes is by giving money to the voters. This is illegal but every candidate is doing it. It is a miracle if a candidate will win an election without spending money.

Having an election is good for the economy. Those money will be in circulation. Even the banks will have to prepare for the election. Money for vote buying has to be prepared by the banks, because the candidates will withdraw from the banks a few days before the election.

Lincoln described democracy as a government of the people, by the people and for the people. In the Philippines, a democratic government is a government off the people, buy the people and fool the people.

The most important thing to do is do not vote for corrupt candidates. Koprasa ang cuarta nga ihatag sa corrupt. Meaning, accept the money but vote for the honest candidate.

It is your sacred duty to know who are CORRUPT and DISHONEST CANDIDATES.

ARE MARCOS, ESTRADA, AND REVILLA CORRUPT?

IS THE GOVERNOR CORRUPT? OBJECTION: THE QUESTION IS LEADING. PUTTING WORDS INTO THE MOUTH OF THE WITNESS. OBJECTION SUSTAINED! WE SUBMIT YOUR HONOR.
