Dept. of Justice Undersecretary Markk Perete Thursday admitted that other mutineers in the Oakwood incident could face a similar fate as Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV if their individual cases are sought for review by anyone.
USEC Perete was in Dumaguete Thursday to speak before city civil servants in the wake of the celebration of Civil Service Month. Earlier, it was the Solicitor General Calida who spoke here at City Hall on the same observance.
He took over DOJ Sec. of Justice Menardo Guevarra who was the scheduled speaker here, if not for the |Triallanes hearing at the Makati Regional Trial Court.
After City Hall , USEC Perete spoke over “CROSSTALK( r ight foto) Radio Show “ in an exclusive interview over BAI RADIO.
USEC Perete said that there is no selective justice because anyone can take up the case of other mutineers anytime.
He said it just so happened that the Solicitor General was led to the Trillanes case because of his constant tirades against the administration which deserved a second look by the country’s No. l lawyer Jose Calida.
