Pamana ng PILIPINO Awardee: Engr. Elizabeth Merto-Engle

A Dumagueteña, outstanding Sillimanian awardee, now a civic leader in Alaska. She is now a U.S. citizen representing the United States awardee as the pioneering woman engineer in the State of Alaska, who served in various leadership roles and managed major pipeline projects. Apart from her exemplary professional career, she has also been involved in various charitable , cultural and even political organizations.

The PAMANA ng Pilipino Award is conferred to Filipinos overseas who in exemplifying the talent and industry of the Filipinos, have brought the country honor and recognition through excellence and distinction in the pursuit of their work and profession. Dr Engle is among the eleven other Pamana ng Pilipino awardees in Malacañang by Pres. Duterte.

25th yr. as priest & Liturgist: Fr. Julius Heruela

Fr. Julius Heruela, par ish priest of St Augustin Hippo parish of Bacong. From Malolos Bulacan, he is the spiritual adviser of the 16 DORMCI renewal movements in the Diocese of Dumaguete. He is also the head liturgist of the local diocese.
