Soldiers in Negros Oriental , under Task Force Noah, seized some six kilos of suspected shabu with estimated street value of P72 million in a buy-bust operation early Wednesday morning.
Security forces carried out the anti-narcotic operation in San Carlos City, resulting in the seizure of a bulk of shabu. San Carlos is the first town of Negros Occidental up north of Negros island It is adjacent to Valleheremoso, which is the last town in Negros Oriental side.
But the three suspected targets eluded arrest.
Task Force Noah of the Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines led the “case build up,” a key element in the conduct of the anti-drug operation. This report was sent by LBG, GMA News.
No further details were available since the area of the raid was in San Carlos City which is the first town of Occidental Negros in the north. The adjacent town is Vallehermoso, Negros Oriental. San Carlos City, is more Cebuano speaking since it is in the side of Oriental Negros.
However, because of its proximity, enforcers from Negros Oriental usually come ahead of Occidental reinforcements.
A kilo of shabu in the market now costs P12-million thus, six kilos is worth a street value of P72-million. O protocol, the case will be endorsed to the Occidental law enforcers.
