Quijote was also hailed Outstanding Population Officer in PopDev. Mayor Felipe Antonio, meanwhile, was also cited for his administration’s exemplary performance in lobbying for policy support on population and development initiatives. These were integrated with projects and activities that centered on Responsible Parenthood and Family Planning, Adolescent Health and Development, and Population Development. The goal of these initiatives is to enable happy, well-planned, and empowered Filipino families particularly in the city.
