In answer to the need for more space for joggers, walk enthusiasts and guests, the city government is implementing the rehabilitation and improvement of multi-purpose pathways along the Rizal Boulevard near the tempurahan section.
The Rizal boulevard project cost of P 7.4 million will cover the excavation of structure, filling up of ballastro, construction of rubble concrete toe, concreting, stone masonry and electrical works.
Mayor Felipe Antonio “Ipe” Remollo said that the amount was taken against the unappropriated surplus of the General Fund Proper per City Development Council Resolution 2017-20.
There have been several complaints of some joggers and visitors who nearly fell of the sea wall due to the crowded area. The 60.74 linear meters Rizal boulevard expansion is expected to be completed on January 2018.
