Simul drug raids net P1.7M + guns

Provincewide simultaneous 12-hour raids last Tuesday on illegal drugs , loose firearms and crime suspects netted the police with some P1.7Million 14 hot firearms, 23 arrests two of whom included as among the top ten most wanted men in the province.

This was confirmed by acting provincial PNP director PS/Supt Raul Tacaca. The raids were done in 24 police stations all over Negros Oriental from 12am to 12noon of Sept. 18.

This was also a region-wide operation under RDirector PCSUPT DEBOLD M SINAS assisted by his deputy for operations. PSSUPT ANGELITO DUMANGENG This was a display of the one-time-big time police raids which will be implemented again anytime and un-announced province wide.

The five city police station and nineteen municipal police station implemented sixteen (16) search warrant on illegal drugs, six (6) buy-bust operations resulting to the confiscation of 159 sachets of shabu weighing more or less 146.6 grams, with Dangerous Drug Board value of PI,702,414 or one million seven hundred two thousand four hundred fourteen pesos,;(Related story on CRIME WATCH page___)

Four (4) illegal gambling operations with fourteen (14) persons arrested, thirteen (13) loose firearms for which three (3) were confiscated, while nine (9) were surrendered and one (1) was recovered. Also, there are twenty-two (22) warrant of arrest implemented with twenty-three (23) wanted person arrested two (2) of which is included in top ten most wanted person (MWP)
