Youth participate in 56th Rizal confab

The National Rizal Youth Leadership Institute (NRYLI) celebrated its 56th year of training young leaders at the Teachers’ Camp Baguio City. NRYLR theme, “Rizal :The Quintessential Filipino in Me. “ Sir Elilu A Ybaòez, KGCR, Supreme Commander of the Knights of Rizal, led the Call to Order and the opening ceremonies.

Sir Mark  Roy L. Boado ,KGOR, presented of KOR member & the NRYLI delegates after the opening ceremonies. Afterwards, Sir Ambeth Ocampo ,KCR  delivered his topic The Triumph of life over death: Rizal’s message for Youth in the digital Age.

There were only 135 delegates who participated in the 1st NRYLI Conference in 1961. There were 750 young leaders who took part in this Youth Congress 2018.

Speaekers were:  Businessman  Sir Maximo S. Salazar, KGOR ,Public Historian Michael Charleston Chua , Ilocos Sur Vice Governor Jerry Singson ,KGCR,  and Senior Associate Justice Hon. Antonio T. Carpio of the Supreme Court of the Philippines ,  which inspired the  youth delegates like Joel Lubaton II, a secondary education student at St. Paul University Dumaguete.
